Biônicos (Bionic in En-US) is finally out!
I had the pleasure to contribute to a film that, post-production wise, has never been made in Brazil.
Working as the main Lookdev & Lighting artist, it allowed me to take responsibility of a good portion of the 3D pipeline. I got to learn and really like some aspects of other departments. One advantage of working with a small team of artist is the connection everyone has made in the process... everyone helping each other and being very friendly.
My work consisted on:
Hero assets optimization, including some modelling fixes, uv layout, texturing and lookdev of the main looks (other variants made by my fellow artist Thiago Teixeira).
HDRI Treatment.
Sequence Light Rigs and lighting.
Sequence lighting pipeline.
Lookdev and lighting overrides in specific shots.
Custom render layers and AOVs pipeline for compositing.
Lookdev and lighting bug fixes and optimizations.
Minor scripting for automating some processes.
Helping other artists to follow the pipeline and any other matter that i could help with.
Really enjoyed working on this project and looking forward to new challenges!
